SAVE THE DATES CARDS ARE THE VERY FIRST ELEMENT OF YOUR WEDDING

Save the date card – a peek into how the day will play. Will it be a formal, glamourous affair, or a relaxed, bohemian destination wedding?

Our design service can help develop your ideas into a beautiful design – one that seamlessly links into the theme that you’ve settled on. Yet your theme is only one element of the design – the rest revolves around reflecting you as a couple. We can advise on wording, tone of voice, imagery and colour schemes – each element of which can be a representation of your personalities.

We’re also able to provide standalone print services, for those couples who already have their files ready to go to print. In either event, we’ll advise and guide you through your options – from the specialist printing techniques to the envelope that should accompany your ‘Save the Date’.

SAY “SAVE THE DATE” WITH STYLE, WITH THESE THREE MUST-KNOW TIPS

  • Your ‘Save the Date’ cards should be sent around six to eight months in advance – this provides your guests with enough time to book time off work, save money and arrange their travel. You may want to consider sending them 12 months in advance if you’re having a destination wedding.
  • Your ‘Save the Date’ card should be a simple announcement – there’s no need to include information such as directions, addresses, gift registry information or anything other than the date and the details to RSVP. Everything else should be kept for your wedding invites.
  • Now is the time to settle on a wedding theme – into which your ‘Save the Date’ cards should tie. Here are some ideas as to general themes…
    • Vintage
    • Whimsical
    • Modern
    • Rustic
    • Garden party/casual
    • Bohemian
    • Formal/traditional
    • Art-deco
