The decadence of this technique means that it works best when the remaining design is simple, so consider selecting only minimal wording, in an unfussy sans serif font, that is engraved with gold or silver glitter ink.
• Silver or gold-effect finishes always look best when contrasting against a dark background – such as deep blue, black, emerald green, dark plum, aubergine or indigo blue.
